Today is my first Thursday Sketch *art* post :) This is a painting I made for my mom - started it about a year ago. Most of it is "made up" meaning I didnt have a photo to go by... that's hard for me to do. but anyway - its done and it was good to paint again even if its not my favorite piece ever :) tfl!



If you want me to put something up here for the Thursday Sketch (be it thursday or any other day) email me with a picture and description and i'll put it up! :)

What is The Thursday Sketch?

This site is devoted to the creation of ART. In any form, fashion, or style. The only stipulations are that you have to *create.* (it doesnt even have to be posted on a Thursday!)

This idea was inspired by my high school art teacher, and mentor, Murph. He taught me a great deal about art, and life, and about the process of creativity. He taught me about the purity of art, as expression, beauty, life.

There is NO wrong way to create. The only mistake you can make, is to NOT create at all.

So join in, and take part in, The Thursday Sketch.
